Hodeida: Hodeida governor Abdullah Atifi met on Saturday with sheikhs, notables, community leaders, and social figures from Hays district. The meeting took place as part of efforts to assess the district's situation and strengthen communication with its residents following its liberation from the troop concentrations of the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, governor Atifi congratulated the people of Hays and the Yemeni people on the field victories that culminated in the repulsion of the forces of invasion and occupation and the defeat of their schemes and conspiratorial plots. He conveyed the congratulations of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council regarding these victories and the heroic feats achieved by the heroes of the Armed Forces and the free people of the nation.
He congratulated the residents of Hays District on attaining their freedom and cleansing their land of the filth of the invaders, praising the patriotic stances and sacrifices made by the district's people, as well as their steadfastness in confronting agendas of tutelage and subservience.
He explained that the meeting marks the beginning of a new phase defined by reconstruction, recovery, the normalization of conditions, and the consolidation of security and stability. He emphasized the commitment of the governorate leadership and local authorities to prioritizing Hays District regarding essential services and humanitarian needs, working to rehabilitate public facilities, enhance services, and create the appropriate conditions for life to return to normal.
Governor Atifi highlighted the importance of concerted official and community efforts in the coming period to address service and development priorities, strengthen security and stability, and solidify the presence of state institutions within the district.
Tribal sheikhs, notables, and prominent social figures called for redoubling efforts, closing ranks, embodying the values of solidarity and cooperation, and actively contributing to the protection of national achievements and the support of the development and reconstruction process.
For their part, the sheikhs, community leaders, and prominent figures of Hays District expressed their pride in the victories achieved, affirming their continued patriotic stance and their commitment to standing united alongside the governorate's leadership and local authorities, as well as contributing to consolidating security and stability and advancing development within the district.
