Hodeida: Bajil District in Hodeida Governorate witnessed a festive festival for the people of the Eastern Districts Square, commemorating the Day of the Wilaiya of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The festival was held under the slogan "Whoever I am his guardian, then this Ali is his guardian."

According to Yemen News Agency, the festival was attended by members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and the Governor's Deputy for Eastern District Affairs, Amer Muthanna. The event featured speeches that reviewed the significance of the Day of Guardianship and the importance of preparing the nation to restore its glories, starting from this pivotal moment that laid the foundations for the post-death phase of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

The speeches explained that the Day of Guardianship is a crucial occasion during which everyone must return to the path of Imam Ali and adhere to his guardianship. They noted that the nation must begin to change its paths and reality by embodying divine directives to emerge from the diaspora.

The speakers highlighted the importance of instilling the values of loyalty in accordance with correct Quranic concepts, as a culmination of the message conveyed by the Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) when he raised the hand of Imam Ali and declared him as guardian.

They praised the example set by Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in his life, his closeness to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and his continued support of Islam and Muslims in opposition to the forces of falsehood. The speeches emphasized that the project of guardianship is the impregnable barrier that preserves the nation's faith identity and protects it from dependency and deviation.

The speakers stated that the commemoration of Ghadir is significant as it opens the nation's awareness to the necessity of having a clear faith-based reference that connects the past to the present and builds the future on the foundations of loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the beacons of guidance, avoiding dependency on the West and the forces of tyranny.

They explained that the Day of Ghadir distinguishes the nation by its approach to loyalty and called for drawing inspiration from the lessons of righteous leadership from Imam Ali, peace be upon him. The festival, attended by directors of directorates, local and executive leaders, and social figures, included expressive chants and poems.
