Hodeida: Several areas across the districts of Hodeida city held cultural and speech gatherings on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. In Hodeida port district (Al-Mina), Al-Zabariya Al-Shamaliya area held a celebratory evening attended by Hodeida province undersecretary Ahmed Al-Bishri and District Director Abdullah Al-Hadi.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers expressed pride in the birth anniversary of the final Prophet and stressed the importance of community participation in commemorating the occasion and drawing on its spiritual and educational significance. In Al-Raziqi Section of Al-Hawk district, another evening gathering was held, where speakers highlighted the importance of commemorating the occasion and drawing inspiration from the values and principles embodied by the Prophet in building society and promoting solidarity and compassion.
During the two gatherings, Al-Bishri highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a manner reflecting his status in the collective consciousness of the nation, recalling his biography, positions, and values in society, and strengthening fraternity and adherence to the Prophetic approach. He said commemorating the occasion reflects love and loyalty to the Prophet and raises awareness of the importance of emulating his morals and noble biography, as well as drawing lessons from his life in confronting challenges and building a cohesive society based on justice, benevolence, and compassion.
In Al-Hali district, evening gatherings were held in Al-Bayda Al-Wusta area of Al-Bayda sub-district, Al-Sha'biyah area of Shamsan sub-district, and Al-Jabana. The gatherings featured speeches and cultural segments addressing the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and the importance of emulating his biography, morals, and struggle.
Several other evening gatherings were also held in Al-Hawk district, including in Al-Qal'a area of Al-Corniche / Al-Kurnesh neighborhood, Al-Raziqi Al-Mu'addal Section, and Al-Qasr area at Souq Al-Hunud. The gatherings saw broad community participation, with speakers highlighting aspects of the Prophet's biography and the importance of the occasion in strengthening attachment to the Prophet.
The gatherings, which featured poems, devotional praises, and nasheeds, emphasized the significance of the occasion and its spiritual and educational meanings, stressing the importance of making it an opportunity to strengthen emulation of the Prophet and adherence to his values and principles in all aspects of life.
