Hodeida: The second-semester final exams for basic and secondary transition grades have officially commenced across schools in Hodeida governorate for the academic year 1447 AH. The launch was officiated by Hodeida province undersecretary Mohammed Halisi.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mohammed Halisi, along with the Head of the Educational Sector Omar Bahr and the Director of al-Hali district Muayyad al-Muayyad, visited several schools in the city center. These schools included Ali Abdul-Mughni, Abu Bakr, and Martyr al-Sammad. During their visit, they received briefings from educational directors on the discipline and progress of the examination process.
The focus of the visit was on the efforts made to create a conducive environment for both male and female students. The undersecretary commended the educational staff, emphasizing the resilience of the “educational front” in playing a crucial role in nurturing future generations despite existing challenges.
A total of 632,217 students are participating in the exams across 24 districts within the governorate. Hodeida undersecretary for Eastern Districts, Amer Muthanna, also inspected exams at schools such as Khawla bint al-Azwar and al-Hurriya, where 33,000 students are currently undergoing testing.
This examination initiative in Hodeidah is part of a larger national effort, with approximately 6 million students starting their transition exams today under the supervision of the Acting Prime Minister in Sana’a.
