Hodeida: Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi, along with Assistant Deputy for City Square Affairs Ali Al-Kabari, visited several summer centers in Hali District to inspect ongoing summer courses and activities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor examined the level of student participation in various summer activities, including educational and cultural programs, sports, and Quran memorization and recitation sessions. Governor Atifi highlighted the role of these summer courses in utilizing the vacation period to enhance students' skills and foster a sense of national belonging. He described these courses as educational and cultural hubs that contribute significantly to youth development.
Governor Atifi expressed appreciation for the supervisors and teachers who are effectively implementing activities aimed at nurturing a knowledgeable generation grounded in their faith. He reiterated the local authority's commitment to supporting these activities, which play a crucial role in shielding youth from external influences.
Assistant Deputy Al-Kabari emphasized the growing interest in summer centers as an indication of community awareness regarding their significance. He acknowledged the diverse religious, scientific, and skill-based activities offered, which aim to enhance students' abilities and nurture their talents.
The governor was joined by several executive leaders from the governorate during his inspection visit.
