Russian Army Seizes Ukrainian Military Site in Donetsk

Donetsk: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that special forces units of the Southern Group captured a tank crew and at least 10 Ukrainian soldiers, and seized a large fortification of the Kyiv regime forces on the Aleksandro-Kalinovsky direction in the Donetsk People's Republic.

According to Yemen News Agency, the ministry stated: "Continuing the liberation of the occupied territories of the Donetsk People's Republic, soldiers of the Russian Special Forces units of the Southern Group captured a large Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in one of the towns on the Aleksandro-Kalinovsky direction, where the special military operation is being conducted."

The statement further detailed: "During the combat operations, the assault units destroyed a US-made M-113 armored personnel carrier and a tank, and captured the tank crew and at least 10 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers."

A Russian soldier involved in the assault disclosed, "We entered and discovered 10 of them... The enemy was firing heavily. Initially, they returned fire. Later, they realized their chances were slim and decided to surrender."

According to the latest data from the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered losses of more than 110 servicemen in a single day within the area of responsibility of the Russian Southern Group. Additionally, the losses included four armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles, three field artillery pieces, and an ammunition depot.
