Hodeida Governor Evaluates Performance and Readiness of Security Department

Hodeida: Hodeida governor Abdullah Atifi on Monday inspected the security and operational performance of the governorate's security department, and the efforts being made to enhance security and public order. During the visit, the governor received a detailed briefing from the governorate's security director, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, on the workflow, mechanisms for following up on cases and reports, and plans to address them promptly.

According to Yemen News Agency, Atifi reviewed the level of discipline and the readiness and performance of the various security units and agencies in the field to maintain public order and protect public and private property. The governor praised the efforts of the security department's leadership and all its personnel in serving citizens, ensuring justice for complainants, and addressing their concerns. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and commitment in carrying out their assigned tasks and responsibilities.

He commended the field successes achieved by the security forces, most notably the community policing initiative, which successfully addressed and resolved approximately seven thousand cases within five months. He considered the provincial security administration a cornerstone of stability, and affirmed that the prevailing security and safety are the fruits of the vigilance and tireless efforts of the nation's watchful eyes.

For his part, the provincial security director expressed his appreciation for the governor's attention and ongoing support for the security sector, emphasizing that the security forces, in all their units and formations, are fully prepared and constantly ready to respond to any emergency and keep pace with all developments on the ground with utmost vigilance and courage. Major General Al-Jaradi indicated that the vigilant eyes will continue to carry out all assigned tasks and responsibilities to the fullest extent.
