Hodeida Governor Inaugurates Restoration Projects in Abbal and Bajil Cities

Hodeida: Hodeida governor Abdullah Atifi, accompanied by province undersecretaries Ahmed Dahmos and Amer Muthanna, inaugurated two major infrastructure projects on Tuesday. The inauguration took place at the entrance to Abbal City in al-Hujailah district and the rehabilitation of the main street in Bajil City. The projects, funded by the governorate's local council, cost over 317 million Yemeni Y.R.

According to Yemen News Agency, the initiatives were implemented by the Executive Unit for Projects and Maintenance and supervised by the Public Works Sector. The aim is to enhance road infrastructure, facilitate traffic flow, and improve public services in both districts. In Abbal, the project included concrete paving of a 300-meter dual-lane road, the construction of a four-meter median with flowerbeds, and stone paving along the sides.

In Bajil, the focus was on restoring damaged sections of the main road, improving the asphalt surface, and enhancing rainwater drainage. Governor Atifi emphasized that the projects align with the governorate's comprehensive development plan to improve infrastructure and urban environments. He stressed the importance of maintaining such projects to ensure service sustainability and community benefit.
