Hodeida: The team from the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in Hodeida governorate commenced a field visit on Saturday to evaluate the ongoing loan projects funded by the unit in the region. The initiative aims to assess the implementation of these projects and their impact on local farmers and fishermen.
According to Yemen News Agency, the evaluation team, led by Yahya al-Wada'i and including engineers Hani al-Qudaimi and Khalid al-Gharati, began their assessment with a visit to the al-Durayhimi Farmers' Cooperative. This cooperative serves as a multi-purpose agricultural hub and is the first stop in their evaluation process.
During the visit, Yahya al-Wada'i highlighted the objectives of this initiative, emphasizing the commitment of the local authority and the unit's administration to successfully implement these projects. This effort aligns with the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, which aim to advance the agricultural and fisheries sector towards achieving self-sufficiency.
The team leader also stated that upon completing the implementation plan, a comprehensive report will be submitted. This report will include the evaluation results and recommendations to ensure effective mechanisms are in place for repaying revolving loans. Additionally, it will address and correct any identified imbalances within the projects.
