Sana'a: Al-Midmar Model Secondary School in the Capital Secretariat has announced the opening of registration and admission for outstanding students for the 1448 AH academic year. Opened this year in Shu'ub District, Al-Midmar Model Secondary School is the first technical secondary school in Yemen. It features advanced educational facilities, highly qualified academic staff, an outstanding learning environment, organized boarding accommodation, comprehensive student services, specialized academic supervision, and continuous student support.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulqader Al-Mahdi, Head of the Education Sector in the Capital Secretariat, called on parents and high-achieving students wishing to join this distinguished educational institution to register promptly, noting that seats are limited. He explained that registration began at the start of Muharram and will continue for two weeks.
Al-Mahdi noted that Al-Midmar is the first secondary school in Yemen to combine academic and technical education, offering a high-quality educational model and comprehensive student care. He stressed that the initiative reflects the education sector's commitment to advancing the educational process in the Capital Secretariat.
He explained that the school's facilities include an Artificial Intelligence department, a modern computer laboratory, physics, chemistry, biology laboratories, fully equipped classrooms built to high standards, and organized boarding facilities in a safe environment with integrated services, including balanced meals for students.
Al-Mahdi added that the school's comprehensive internal system includes remedial, enrichment, and skills-development programs, as well as scientific, cultural, and sports activities. Continuous student monitoring and guidance are also provided to foster a disciplined educational environment focused on academic achievement and moral values.
He further stated that graduates receive a Scientific Secondary School Certificate, which qualifies them for admission to all university faculties.
