Al mahwit: Deputy Governors of Al Mahwit, Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari and Hussein Arqad, launched the new academic year on Sunday at a number of schools in the governorate center. During visits to several schools, accompanied by Education Sector Head Ibrahim Al-Zain and Deputy Mobilization Official Amer Al-Aqhumi, they reviewed preparations for receiving students at the start of the new school year.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials praised the strong student attendance and the smooth commencement of classes from the first day, stressing the importance of cooperation between official and community bodies to ensure the success of the educational process and implementation of the approved academic plan. They noted that the launch of the school year reflects the resilience of the Yemeni people and commended the dedication of teachers and education staff despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict and blockade.
Education Sector Head Ibrahim Al-Zain affirmed the commitment to ensuring a successful academic year and maintaining regular educational activities across schools. He said the continuity of education despite exceptional circumstances demonstrates the steadfastness of the education sector. Meanwhile, Al Mahwit City Education Official Malik Al-Shahdhi highlighted the perseverance of teachers in fulfilling their national duty and their commitment to building a capable and educated generation for the future.
