Hodeida: A cultural and speech evening was held on Monday in Al-Durayhimi district of Hodeida governorate to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was organized by the Al-Durayhimi Agricultural Cooperative Association and the district branch of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, with participation from sheikhs from Al-Jahba Al-Ulya and attendance by directors of executive offices, sheikhs, dignitaries, tribal leaders, and officials and staff of the association and authority branch.
According to Yemen News Agency, District Director Mohammed Al-Mousai emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects Yemenis' attachment to the Prophet and their adherence to his values and principles. He called for drawing lessons from his noble life, strengthening the values of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation, and participating in events organized to mark the occasion.
Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jahbi highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday and the spiritual meanings and noble values associated with it, which he said reinforce love for the Prophet and emulation of his character and life. He reviewed aspects of the Prophet's biography and stressed the importance of emulating the Prophet in words, deeds, and dealings, while promoting compassion, cooperation, and social solidarity.
Chairman of the Al-Durayhimi Agricultural Cooperative Association, Jaber Kayyal, stated that commemorating the Prophet's birthday reflects the depth of love for the Prophet and adherence to his path. He stressed the importance of translating Prophetic values into practices that strengthen social cohesion, cooperation, and generosity.
Meanwhile, Director of the district branch of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, Yahya Al-Mansour, remarked that the occasion provides an opportunity to recall the life of the best of humanity, draw upon its spiritual and moral values, and strengthen unity, solidarity, and social cohesion.
