Hodeida: A training program for legal staff of Hodeida province office and executive offices in the province began on Saturday, aiming to develop the skills of 30 participants in drafting legal documents and litigation procedures over a two-week period. The program is organized by the Legal Training Center of the State Legal Office.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Abdullah Atifi emphasized the importance of such specialized programs to strengthen the legal cadre's knowledge of laws and regulations, enabling them to perform their duties effectively. He encouraged participants to make full use of the program to enhance their skills and legal expertise.
Dr. Mohammed al-Zubairi, head of the Legal Training Center, explained that the program aligns with state efforts to reform the legal system, focusing on legal drafting, contract preparation, and courtroom advocacy. He noted that low legal awareness remains a major challenge in government offices, highlighting the need to build qualified legal personnel to safeguard state rights and strengthen legal procedures.
Mohammed al-Qalaisi, Director of the Governorate Legal Office, described the program as the first of its kind in the governorate, aiming to equip participants with practical skills in legal drafting and litigation, thereby improving overall legal performance in executive offices.
