Hodeida Martyrs’ Foundation Launches Food Basket Distribution for Martyrs’ Families

Hodeida: The province branch of the Martyrs' Foundation in Hodeida has initiated a distribution of food baskets for the families of martyrs and the missing across the governorate's districts. The initiative, which began on Wednesday, is supported by the Fifth Military Region, local authorities, and the regional mobilization office.

According to Yemen News Agency, the program is timed with the 1447 AH Martyrs' Commemoration and aims to benefit 2,700 families. At the launch event, governor Abdullah Atefi highlighted that the distribution serves to honor the sacrifices of those who gave their lives defending Yemen's sovereignty and independence. He described the food baskets as a tribute to the martyrs who fell in the face of foreign aggression.

The branch director of the Martyrs' Foundation in Hodeida, Ali al-Shaathmi, emphasized that the initiative reflects the foundation's commitment to supporting the families of martyrs and easing their hardship amid the ongoing challenges facing the country.
