Hodeida: Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri inspected the progress of the restoration and resurfacing project on Palestine Street in Hodeida city. The project is being funded by the Road Maintenance Fund to repair flood damage, extending over a 900-meter stretch from the Clock Roundabout to the Sana'a Street intersection, with an estimated cost of 250 million Y.R.
According to Yemen News Agency, project managers provided insights into the ongoing phases and technical procedures, reporting a 70 percent completion rate. Al-Bishri emphasized the significance of the project in enhancing city infrastructure and alleviating the challenges faced by citizens due to previous flood damage.
He acknowledged the support of the Road Maintenance Fund for infrastructure projects across the governorate, including efforts on other crucial streets. Al-Bishri also underscored the local leadership's focus on road projects due to their direct service and economic impact.
