Hodeida: The Medical Ambulance Center at Hodeida Port concluded a nine-day training program aimed at strengthening the skills of its medical and technical staff in handling emergency and critical cases.
According to Yemen News Agency, the program was held in cooperation with the Medical Professional Company for Health Project Management and Planning and Al-Shifa College for Medical and Technical Sciences. The focus was on improving rapid response and enhancing the quality of emergency and medical services at the port.
Nasser al-Nusairi, Deputy Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, stated that the program reflects the corporation's commitment to developing the health system across its ports to ensure effective emergency services for workers and visitors. He added that the corporation is implementing an ongoing training plan for various medical and technical specialties to boost national staff capabilities and readiness to deal with different emergencies inside and outside the port.
Al-Nusairi emphasized the importance of expanding partnerships with health and academic institutions, including medical colleges, health institutes, and project-management companies, to ensure high-quality training programs aligned with modern medical standards.
