Hodeida Security and Traffic Departments Launch Traffic Control Office

Hodeida: The General Administration of Traffic Police and the Security Department of Hodeida initiated the operations of the Traffic Control Branch in the western governorate as part of the Traffic Police development plan and its executive mechanism.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration was attended by the Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and the Director General of Hodeida Governorate Security, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi. They announced that the Traffic Control Branch in Hodeida is now equipped with three patrols, two officers, and 30 soldiers. These personnel have been trained in traffic management to enhance discipline and safety, fulfill their duties, and serve citizens effectively.

The officials highlighted the significance of traffic control operations in promoting traffic safety and discipline. They emphasized the role of the branch in providing services to road users and ensuring smooth and safe traffic movement.

They also expressed gratitude for the support and interest shown by the Ministry of Interior’s leadership in overseeing and implementing projects that aim to enhance the performance and services of the traffic police.

The Traffic Control Branch began its operations today, with personnel deployed at key intersections and roundabouts under the supervision of the Deputy Director General of Traffic Police, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Aqar.
