Hodeida: Leadership from the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Hodeidah conducted a field inspection on Thursday at the Ramadan Consumer Food Products Fair. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to monitor commercial activities and ensure market stability ahead of the Holy Month.
According to Yemen News Agency, Director of the Economy Office, Saleh Atifa, and his team reviewed the organization of the fair, which is being held at the Economic Corporation's Grand Hall. They assessed the quality of goods, sales mechanisms, and the special discounts offered to citizens. Representatives from the 45 participating national companies provided briefings on their compliance with quality standards and the high level of consumer turnout driven by Ramadan price reductions.
Atifa explained that the office's inspection teams are carrying out daily price monitoring at the fair to prevent any manipulation or exploitation. He noted that the exhibition serves as a successful model of integration between the public and private sectors, supporting national products while providing essential commodities at prices that consider the current economic conditions of citizens.
