Hodeidah:Governor Abdullah Atifi has conducted an inspection of Al-Khawkhah Hospital to assess the medical and therapeutic services available to the local citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Atifi, along with Dr. Ali Al-Haddad from the Health and Environment Office, Finance Director Muhammad Al-Washli, and Al-Khawkhah District Director Amjad Al-Umaysi, examined the workflow across various hospital departments. Their review focused on the nature of health care services provided to patients and the availability of free medical services for beneficiaries at medical camps held at the hospital.
The inspection also aimed to evaluate the needs of health staff and identify requirements for enhancing performance and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies. Governor Atifi expressed the commitment of the local authorities to secure the hospital's operating budget in coordination with relevant bodies, with the goal of improving medical services and easing the struggles faced by patients and visitors.
He commended the dedication of the hospital's medical, technical, and administrative teams for their effort in fulfilling their humanitarian responsibilities and delivering essential care to the community in Al-Khawkhah District.
