Hodeidah: The city of Hodeidah witnessed an illuminated motorcade today, featuring vehicles decorated with green flags and lights in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The procession toured several streets before reaching the city's waterfront and coastline.
According to Yemen News Agency, the motorcade set off from the entrance to Al-Mina Street, with vehicles moving in an organized procession through major streets. Green flags and lights adorned the vehicles, creating a festive scene reflecting the celebratory atmosphere. A number of provincial officials and leaders took part in the procession, reflecting official participation in the celebrations, which hold a deep place in the hearts of Yemenis.
The procession continued toward the city's waterfront, running along the coast amid public interest and interaction from residents along its route. Participants decorated their vehicles with green flags and lights, adding a distinctive festive appearance to the motorcade. The event was part of a range of activities marking the Prophet's birthday in Hodeidah, with various social groups taking part to express their joy, commemorate the Prophet's life, the values of mercy, justice, brotherhood and emulation that it represents.
Upon reaching the city's coastline, the motorcade presented a vibrant scene of decorated vehicles, green flags and lights stretching along the waterfront, reflecting the people of Hodeidah's celebration of the occasion.
