Hodeidah:A speech event was held in Hodeidah to mark the Annual Martyrs' Commemoration 1448 AH under the slogan "Our Martyrs Are Our Great Ones." The event was organized by the branches of the General Authority for Lands, the General Corporation for Slaughterhouses and Meat Markets, and the Hodeidah Monitoring Customs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ahmed Al-Marwani, Deputy Director of the Lands Authority branch, spoke about the high status of martyrs and the significance of sacrifice and martyrdom. He emphasized the importance of reviving the duty of jihad as a means to elevate the nation from its current state of weakness.
Sheikh Ali Sawmal, official of the Scholars and Learners Unit in the governorate, discussed the causes of weakness and humiliation among peoples, attributing these to allegiance to enemies and neglect of religious guidance. He called for increased awareness of the nation's responsibilities and highlighted Yemen's efforts over nearly 12 years of aggression in confronting its adversaries.
Both Al-Marwani and Sawmal praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for their precise operations against Saudi enemy forces, viewing these actions as a continuation of the martyrs' sacrifices in defending the homeland.
