Sana'a: The leader of the Houthi movement, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, praised what he described as a significant victory for the Yemeni people, marking the anniversary of the withdrawal of US Marines from Sana'a on February 11, 2015. He attributed this event to divine intervention and the resilience of the Yemeni population.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyed al-Houthi extended his congratulations to the people of Yemen and highlighted the broader implications of this event. He emphasized that the withdrawal marked the end of American influence over Yemen's political and administrative center, which he claimed had been used to manipulate Yemeni officials and impose foreign policies detrimental to the country.

Sayyed al-Houthi also extended his congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of 1979. He mentioned the sustained resistance of Iran against American influence and Zionist conspiracies, which he saw as a parallel to Yemen's struggle for independence and sovereignty.

In his statement, Sayyed al-Houthi elaborated on the historical significance of the US Marines' departure, claiming it was achieved without negotiations or compromises. He attributed the success to the Yemeni people's steadfastness and faith, which ultimately led to the failure of foreign conspiracies and the preservation of Yemen's freedom and dignity.

The Houthi leader further linked the events in Yemen and Iran to a broader struggle within the Islamic world, portraying them as lessons in resisting foreign domination. He argued that the struggles of both nations serve as a reminder of the need for unity and resistance against efforts to control and reshape the Middle East.

Finally, Sayyed al-Houthi condemned what he described as the brutality and tyranny of global Zionism, citing the Israeli aggression in Gaza and the exposure of scandals involving figures like Jeffrey Epstein as evidence of the moral corruption of their adversaries. He called for increased awareness and action among the Islamic nations to support the Palestinian cause and resist external pressures.
