Ali Shaim Awarded PhD in Quranic Studies from Hodeida University

Hodeida: Researcher Ali Abdulrahman Hussein Shaim has been awarded a PhD with distinction from Hodeida University's Faculty of Education for his thesis titled "Imam al-Hadi (d. 298 AH) and His Approach to Tafsir (Quranic Interpretation)."

According to Yemen News Agency, the dissertation was praised by the examination committee for its academic rigor and contribution to Quranic studies. The committee recommended distributing the study to universities and research centers for wider benefit. Shaim's defense, attended by local officials and university leaders, marked a milestone as the first PhD awarded by the university, highlighting the institution's growing focus on advanced research and graduate programs.
