Human Organization Condemns Israeli Aggression on Sana’a Airport

Sana'a: "Human" Organization for Rights and Freedoms has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli aggression targeting Sana'a International Airport, highlighting the bombing of the last remaining aircraft of Yemen Airways. This act has added to the suffering of the Yemeni people both domestically and internationally.

According to Yemen News Agency, the organization released a statement describing the incident as part of a series of violations that lack any military justification. The statement further noted that less than a month ago, Israeli forces targeted three civilian aircraft at the airport, leading to the destruction of its infrastructure.

The organization labeled the continued attacks on civilian facilities as a serious breach of international humanitarian law. Despite the devastation, authorities in Sana'a promptly began rebuilding the airport, recognizing the urgent needs of citizens, including the return of stranded nationals and enabling medical travel, pilgrimage, and education.

Nevertheless, the statement highlighted that the brief period of hope was shattered when Israeli warplanes resumed their attacks, worsening the plight of tens of thousands of Yemenis stranded abroad and increasing the isolation of those within the country.

The "Human" Organization has called on the international community, human rights organizations, and pro-democracy governments to denounce Israel's actions in Yemen. It emphasized the need for the UN Security Council and the International Criminal Court to take measures to prevent further atrocities and avoid being silent or complicit.
