Ibb: Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah commended the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against Saudi forces and their affiliates preparing for escalation in areas under the control of the national authorities, stressing that any escalation attempts would be met with a strong and direct response.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah stated that the recent operations represented a significant military and intelligence achievement, demonstrating a high level of readiness and the ability to counter sources of threat. He emphasized that any attempts to target these areas would face a firm response capable of thwarting their objectives.

He warned against being drawn into Saudi calls to support the war on Yemen or engaging in activities serving its plans, noting that involving Yemenis in proxy conflicts only serves the objectives of hostile forces. Salah called on Ibb residents who remain aligned with Saudi forces, as well as those who had been misled, to return to the national fold and abandon participation in proxy wars, stressing that continued involvement exposes Yemenis to losses without serving any national interest.

Salah highlighted that Sana'a now possesses deterrent capabilities capable of confronting threats and thwarting escalation attempts. He emphasized that popular and tribal unity, along with support for the revolutionary and political leadership and the armed forces, strengthens Yemen's ability to confront challenges and foil hostile schemes.

The governor also praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' decision to ban maritime navigation by Saudi forces under the principle of "blockade for blockade," describing it as an expression of national resolve. He said addressing its consequences requires recognizing the dangers of continued escalation and responding to the demands of the Yemeni people.

He stressed that the current phase requires strengthening national unity and prioritizing Yemen's interests over alignments serving foreign agendas. Salah urged Yemenis in both the north and south to unify their positions and strengthen cohesion in confronting plans aimed at weakening Yemen and exhausting its capabilities.

Salah further mentioned that targeting Yemen and its people is not limited to any particular region or governorate, stressing the need for everyone to recognize the scale of the risks facing the country, work to protect its unity, sovereignty, resources, and prevent Yemenis from being turned into tools in conflicts serving foreign agendas.
