Ibb Governor Inspects Progress of Greatest Messenger Square Project for Upcoming Prophet’s Birthday

Ibb: Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah today conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction and preparation efforts at the Greatest Messenger Square, which is designated to host the central events for the Prophet's birthday anniversary on the 12th of the upcoming month of Rabi' al-Awwal.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah, accompanied by Shura Council member Nabil Al-Habishi, the governorate's mobilization official Abdul Fattah Ghallab, and directors of relevant executive offices, assessed the progress of the ongoing work at the square. They received detailed briefings from project leaders regarding completed tasks, the strategy for finalizing leveling and technical preparations, and ensuring the square is ready to welcome guests for the anticipated commemoration.

The Governor emphasized the necessity of completing the project within the designated timeline, highlighting the importance of the square's readiness for the occasion's significance. He stressed the need for cohesive collaboration among involved bodies, adherence to technical specifications, safety protocols, and organizational standards.

Governor Salah underscored the project's alignment with the broader preparations for the Prophet's birthday commemoration, highlighting the occasion's religious and spiritual importance. He expressed the need for preparation efforts to match the community's awareness and respect for the event's significance.

Furthermore, discussions with officials from pertinent executive offices focused on the ongoing preparations, particularly street decoration projects, the installation of banners and signs on both public and private properties, and monitoring completion levels across various districts.

The meeting also examined coordination efforts among relevant bodies and committees responsible for the event's preparations, the task distribution mechanism, and the field implementation follow-up to ensure the completion of all necessary decoration and preparation tasks. Governor Salah urged the completion of these tasks on time, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to present a cohesive public appearance across streets and facilities, ensuring readiness for the forthcoming occasion.

He instructed relevant offices to maintain field follow-up operations, enhance coordination, identify needs, and address any challenges that might impede progress.
