Sana'a: Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah on Tuesday inspected preparations for the opening of a martyrs' photo exhibition at al-Wahda Girls' School in al-Mashannah District, which is part of the annual Martyr Anniversary events 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah, accompanied by Shura Council member Nabil al-Hubaishi, received a briefing on the exhibition's sections and displays. The exhibition will feature photos and models of martyrs, including victims of the Zionist aggression, as well as brochures emphasizing the importance of boycotting Israeli and American products.
Governor Salah lauded the sacrifices of the martyrs, stating that they have secured Yemen a distinguished position among nations. He praised the organization of such exhibitions as crucial occasions to honor the memory of martyrs, whose sacrifices remain alive in the Yemeni conscience.
He emphasized that the martyrs' sacrifices will continue to serve as a guiding light for future generations, embodying values of steadfastness and resilience. He noted that their pure blood laid the foundation for a new stage of dignity and defense of the homeland against challenges and conspiracies.
Governor Salah remarked that the events, activities, and exhibitions marking Martyr Anniversary reflect loyalty to the martyrs and deepen the spirit of awareness and responsibility within society. He added that boycotting Israeli products serves as an effective weapon in confronting the Zionist aggression.
