Ibb Governor Reviews Progress of Badaan Road Project

Beijing: Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah inspected on Tuesday the progress of work on the rehabilitation and maintenance project of the Badaan road, which is being implemented at a cost of 140 million riyals, funded by the General Administration of Community Initiatives. The governor reviewed the level of completion, which has reached 80 percent, and listened to an explanation from project officials regarding concrete paving works and technical treatments of damaged sections.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project aims to rehabilitate and maintain deteriorated sections of the Badaan road, starting from Al-Majd roundabout to the Badaan ascent, with a total length of 250 meters and a width of 10 meters. The governor stressed that the project is a vital one that directly meets the needs of citizens, praising the efforts of the General Administration of Community Initiatives in implementing infrastructure projects.

He also noted the importance of this road as a main artery linking the governorate center with several densely populated districts and areas with active traffic flow. He further emphasized the need to adhere to technical and engineering specifications to ensure quality and timely completion of the project, calling for concerted official and community efforts to support local initiative projects in the road sector.
