Widespread Cultural Events in Dhamar Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Dhamar: Celebratory, cultural, and educational events were staged on Sunday across Dhamar province to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, with activities held in districts, villages, schools, and local sectors.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events included cultural evenings, student marches, religious performances, community gatherings, and preparations for the central celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal. Streets, neighborhoods, schools, and mosques were also being decorated for the occasion.

Participants highlighted the Prophet's life and teachings, calling for stronger social solidarity, compassion, and adherence to his values. Some events also included statements condemning insults to the Holy Quran and expressing support for Yemen's political and military positions.

They reaffirmed their firm stance against forces they view as tyrannical and arrogant, and committed to maintaining the blockade on Saudi Arabia until the Yemeni people's demands are met, including lifting the blockade, ending the aggression, and restoring national sovereignty and looted resources.
