Ibb’s Al-Sadda Hosts Cultural Gatherings for Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Ibb: Cultural and oratorical evening gatherings were held in Al-Sadda district of Ibb governorate to mark the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, with broad official and community participation. The local branches of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund and the Rural Water Authority, along with the Wadi Bana Waterfall Power Station, organized an evening gathering attended by District Director Mohammed Al-Darwani, Mobilization Officer Adel Al-Bahm, and Local Council Secretary Abdulsalam Al-Aghbari.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the final Prophet and recalling aspects of his noble life and the values of mercy, justice, benevolence, and good character that he embodied. They highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the guidance of Prophet Muhammad, strengthen awareness of its significance, and reinforce values of solidarity, compassion, and steadfastness in the principles and values of Islam.

The event was attended by Deputy District Security Director Lieutenant Colonel Rajeh Amer, along with local and mobilization leaders, representatives of cultural and social units, and district sheikhs and dignitaries. Residents of Al-A'mas area also organized a celebratory evening to mark the Prophet's birthday, attended by the District Director and Mobilization Officer.

Speakers reviewed the noble life of the Prophet of Mercy, who was sent to all humanity, and the values of kindness, compassion, and justice embodied in his life. They said his mission marked a major transformation in human history, bringing people from the darkness of ignorance and injustice to the light of guidance and truth. They stressed the importance of translating the commemoration into practical actions that embody the Prophet's values and morals in society, strengthening solidarity, compassion, and cooperation, and adhering to his approach in confronting challenges.

A number of sheikhs, dignitaries, and social figures attended the gathering. Meanwhile, residents of Al-Za'la area organized another celebratory evening attended by the District Director, Mobilization Officer, Deputy District Security Director Lieutenant Colonel Rajeh Amer, and a number of local, executive, and mobilization leaders.

Speakers emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is an opportunity to recall his life, strengthen unity and solidarity, and emulate the final Prophet in his values, principles, and positions. They stressed that the commemoration should not be limited to holding events, but should involve reviving the Prophet's values and morals and translating them into actions, conduct, and work, thereby strengthening the unity and cohesion of society.
