Sana'a: Governor of Ibb Abdulwahid Salah on Sunday received freed prisoner Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Hebshi, who was released in a prisoner exchange operation. Governor Salah affirmed the commitment of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and local authorities to securing the release of all prisoners and tracking missing persons.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah praised the heroic sacrifices of the prisoners and army fighters in confronting the aggression and foiling its criminal schemes, while commending the resilience of prisoners in enemy and mercenary jails. The reception highlighted the local leadership's ongoing efforts to address the plight of those still detained and missing.
The freed prisoner expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged to rejoin his comrades on the battlefronts of dignity and honor. His release is seen as a significant step in the ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian concerns related to detentions amid the conflict.
