Sana'a: On the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, the people of Jawf governorate marked the Prophet's birthday with a central celebration that showcased a faith-based expression of loyalty and allegiance to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the celebrations culminated in a significant public turnout in the squares of al-Hazm and al-Marashi districts. This gathering honored the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, emulating his righteous path. Attendees at the Muhammadan Festival carried banners and adorned the central squares with green colors, symbolizing their love and connection to Muhammad, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
The festival, attended by large crowds from early morning, highlighted the importance of the Prophet's birthday. It affirmed Yemenis' commitment to the Prophet's teachings and their emulation of his word, deed, and behavior. Participants from across the governorate's villages and districts chanted slogans denouncing enemies, sang festive songs, and hymns of love for the Prophet, expressing joy and happiness on the occasion of his blessed birth.
The celebrations in Jawf reflected pride in belonging to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and following his teachings, which emphasize justice, sacrifice, and jihad in the path of Allah against tyrants and oppressors. This vivid display of faith underscored the high regard for the Final Prophet in people's hearts and served as a source of inspiration for the values and principles he brought.
Throughout the governorate, manifestations of joy were evident, with homes, government buildings, and private facilities decorated, and meetings, gatherings, seminars, and events organized since the beginning of Safar. The people of Jawf emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday highlights their deep connection to him and sends a message against global hegemonic forces.
They highlighted the Yemeni tradition of celebrating this religious occasion, embodying their adherence to the Prophet's morals and approach. The people of Jawf reiterated their commitment to the teachings of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and their determination to confront the Zionist enemy while supporting the Palestinian people.
The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, was authorized by the people of Jawf to make decisions supporting the Palestinian cause. They declared their readiness to engage in the battle of "the promised victory and holy jihad," pledging to make sacrifices to support the oppressed and defend Yemen's sovereignty and independence.
The women of the province held a massive festival to honor the birth of the Prophet, chanting slogans of loyalty and allegiance. Their celebration affirmed sincere loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, dedication to the Muhammadan approach, and commitment to the principles brought by the Chosen One, strengthening steadfastness against forces of hegemony and arrogance.
