Sanaa: Today, Ibb province witnessed massive popular marches in a number of districts and cities, most notably the central march in the Square of the Greatest Messenger at Ibb University, in addition to marches in Yareem, Ar Radmah, As Saddah, Al Udayn, and Jabal Ra's (in participation with Al-Hudaydah).
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants raised banners affirming adherence to the principle of guardianship (wilayah) and the faith-based identity, and renewed their loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the banners of guidance. They affirmed their continued steadfastness and resilience in facing the challenges and conspiracies targeting the nation, and disavowal of its enemies and the forces of global arrogance.
In their speeches, the Deputy Minister of Justice, Judge Ibrahim Al-Shami, and the Deputy Guidance Official, Hashim Wajih al-Din, stressed that Yawm al-Wilayah is a faith-based milestone to renew the connection to the path of God and to follow the example of Imam Ali in justice, courage, and supporting the truth.
They affirmed that Yemenis have found in Imam Ali a model of the faithful leader who does not compromise on truth. They explained that commemorating this occasion enhances awareness and insight and embodies societal cohesion around religious and national constants.
