Al-mahwit: The Women's Cultural Authority in Al-Mahwit city organized an oratorical and cultural event today to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship).
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches at the event affirmed the importance of commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah as a religious occasion that embodies the values of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), and draws lessons from his noble biography and honorable stances in supporting the Islamic religion and defending truth and justice.
They pointed out that celebrating this occasion represents a response to divine commands and prophetic guidance, and an embodiment of the path based on adherence to authentic Islamic values and principles, contributing to enhancing awareness and insight among the nation's sons and enabling them to face various challenges according to the Quranic approach. The speeches called on the free women of Al-Mahwit to continue their awareness and educational role in building generations, consolidating faith-based identity and Quranic culture, and actively contributing to enhancing social cohesion and entrenching the values of steadfastness and resilience.
