Ibb Receives Paved Road Project in Rural District

Sana'a: Ibb Governorate's Community Initiatives Department received a community-implemented road paving project for parts of Al-Bahreen-Balad Shar road in the Rural Ibb district, with a total cost of 38 million riyals funded by the local authority and residents.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the handover, Province Undersecretary Qassem al-Masawa praised the community's role in achieving sustainable development. He reaffirmed the governorate's commitment to addressing service needs, particularly in remote rural areas.

Project Director Eng. Bandar al-Ahdal stated that the 385-square-meter project connects five sub-districts to the governorate center. The funding includes 23 million riyals from the local authority and 15 million contributed by the local community. He emphasized the significance of road projects in enhancing livelihoods and access to services.
