Ibb Reviews Preparations for Start of 1448 AH Academic Year

Sana'a: An educational meeting in Ibb governorate discussed on Saturday preparations for the launch of the 1448 AH academic year under the slogan 'Education is Everyone's Responsibility,' focusing on measures to strengthen educational performance and ensure a smooth start to the new school year.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by the governorate's mobilization officer, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, and attended by Head of the Education Sector Mohammed Al-Ghazali, along with educational leaders from across the governorate and its districts. Participants reviewed the outcomes of a central workshop for education officials held at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, as well as mechanisms for implementing its recommendations at the governorate and district levels. The discussions focused on improving educational and administrative performance and enhancing the overall quality of the educational process.

The meeting also examined procedures for distributing and preparing official assignment forms for permanent and volunteer staff, field visit plans to monitor employee attendance and the stability of the educational process, and tasks assigned to education sectors in accordance with the school calendar and the Ministry's plan for the 1448 AH academic year. During the meeting, Ghallab praised the efforts of the education sector in maintaining educational activities and improving performance despite ongoing challenges. He commended the commitment demonstrated by educational leaders and staff and stressed that the success of the upcoming academic year depends on collective efforts and a strong sense of educational and national responsibility.

For his part, Al-Ghazali underscored the importance of coordination between official institutions and the community to ensure the success of the new academic year, describing education as a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of all stakeholders. He highlighted the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research's commitment to improving educational performance through ongoing programs and plans designed to support students and teachers and enhance the quality of education. He also stressed the importance of schools engaging with religious, national, cultural, and sports activities, citing their role in developing students' personalities and strengthening their sense of belonging and national identity.

Al-Ghazali concluded by praising the dedication of educational personnel throughout the governorate and their commitment to ensuring the success and stability of the educational process in all districts during the upcoming academic year.
