Sa’ada Educational Leaders Convene to Strategize for 1448 AH Academic Year

Sa'ada: Educational leaders in Sa'ada governorate convened on Saturday to review preparations for the launch of the 1448 AH academic year and discuss measures aimed at strengthening the educational process across the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting brought together Province Undersecretaries Ali Al-Dhahiri and Saleh Aqab, Head of the Education Sector Mohammed Al-Dawla, his deputies, heads of educational departments, and directors of educational administrations and district offices. Participants reviewed completed tasks, ongoing preparations, and remaining requirements necessary to ensure the timely start of the new academic year in schools throughout the governorate.

During the meeting, Al-Dhahiri commended the efforts of educational leaders and teachers in maintaining the continuity of education in recent years despite challenging circumstances. He stressed the importance of sustaining and further developing these efforts to improve educational outcomes, strengthen the learning environment, and prepare qualified graduates.

Ibb Undersecretary Aqab highlighted the value of educational meetings and workshops in exchanging ideas and developing educational approaches that respond to current challenges facing the country. He emphasized the role of education in addressing evolving social and national needs.

For his part, Education Sector Head Mohammed Al-Dawla praised the support provided by local authorities at both the governorate and district levels for the education sector and its activities. He called for greater cooperation between official institutions and the community to ensure the success of the educational process, describing education as a shared responsibility that requires broad participation and support.

Al-Dawla also acknowledged the efforts of teachers and administrative personnel in schools throughout the governorate, noting their continued commitment to managing and advancing education despite the difficulties facing the sector, including the interruption of salaries. The meeting concluded with a renewed emphasis on coordination among educational authorities and local institutions to ensure a successful start to the 1448 AH academic year and to enhance the quality and stability of education across Sa'dah Governorate.
