Ibb Scholars Reject Saudi Allegations Against Yemen

Ibb:Scholars and preachers in the Ibb governorate have strongly condemned the Saudi regime's claims about targeting the holy sites of Mecca and Medina.

According to Yemen News Agency, the scholars and preachers issued a statement after a meeting on Tuesday, rejecting what they described as Saudi fabrications intended to damage the image of the Yemeni people and serve American and Zionist interests. The statement argued that these allegations are part of a broader media campaign to incite sectarian conflict and cover up crimes against Yemen.

The statement also denounced tactics used to manipulate Islamic public opinion and recruit mercenaries, emphasizing that such actions are against Islamic teachings. It reaffirmed the duty of all Muslims to defend Islamic holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and criticized the exploitation of the Two Holy Mosques for colonial agendas.

Warnings were issued against states complicit in aggression against Yemen, noting that false allegations could be exploited by the Zionist enemy to incite conflict among Muslims. The scholars called for global support, urging religious figures and media to resist Saudi disinformation.

Expressing regret over premature positions taken by some states and institutions, the scholars stressed the importance of verifying information before forming opinions. They urged Muslim scholars and institutions to unite against incitement, lift blockades, and end aggression against Yemen.

The scholars invited Islamic institutions to visit Yemen to witness the impact of the blockade and aggression firsthand and called for attention to issues affecting Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.

They condemned the violation of the Holy Kaaba's sanctity and criticized Western military presence and Zionist influence in managing holy sites. Additionally, they denounced acts by Takfiri mercenaries in Taiz and attacks on civilian infrastructure.

The scholars praised recent military achievements as victories for Palestine and the Muslim nation, emphasizing the need for continued resilience, prayer, and support for military efforts. They reiterated Yemen's commitment to the Palestinian cause and regional issues.

The meeting, organized by the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance and local authorities, was held under a slogan challenging Saudi claims and supporting strategic escalation in response to the blockade.
