Amran: The Amran branch of the Poets Union, in cooperation with the provincial Youth and Sports Office, organized an illuminated car parade featuring vehicles adorned with green lights to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. The procession began at the Telecommunications Roundabout, continued along Martyr al-Sammad Street, and concluded at the Great Prophet Square in the provincial capital, where the main celebration is set to take place.
According to Yemen News Agency, a speech event was held following the parade to honor the birth of the Prophet. This event was attended by notable figures including General Mobilization official Mohammed Al-Gharab, the director of the Youth and Sports Office, Poets Union branch head Abdullah Al-Wadaei, Amin Al-Harithi, and several educational and social representatives.
In his address, Al-Gharab emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birth is not just a passing occasion, but a significant religious milestone deeply ingrained in the lives of Yemenis. He asserted that the event strengthens their bond with the Prophet and underscores valuable lessons from his life and righteous conduct. Al-Gharab urged broad participation in the main celebration scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal at the Great Prophet Square, highlighting the occasion as an opportunity to renew commitment to following the Prophet's path.
