Hajjah: The Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Hajjah Governorate inaugurated comprehensive cleaning campaigns today in the governorate center and its directorates in preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration event at the governorate center saw the participation of Ahmed Al-Akhfash, the governorate’s deputy for the Marei Al-Madinah directorates. Al-Akhfash emphasized the importance of the campaign in reflecting the faith identity and showcasing the civilized aspect of the governorate as it prepares for the month of fasting and forgiveness. He acknowledged the dedication of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund workers and their role in environmental preservation, urging citizens to collaborate with the cleaning teams to achieve the campaign’s goals.
The event also featured Eng. Essam Al-Wazzan, director of the governorate center directorate, and Eng. Ahmed Al-Shamiri, deputy executive director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. Al-Shamiri highlighted that the campaign will run until the end of Shaaban, encouraging citizens to assist cleaning workers by placing garbage bags in designated areas.
Sameh Al-Bawab, director of the cleanliness project at the fund, detailed the campaign’s scale, noting the involvement of more than 43 pieces of equipment and 334 workers.
