Inauguration of Jihana Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association in Sana’a

Sana'a: The founding meeting of the Jihana Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association was held in Jihana District, Sana'a Governorate, to formally establish the association and elect its administrative and supervisory bodies.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the association's bylaws, internal regulations, objectives, duties, and programs, as well as the procedures for electing its administrative and inspection bodies.

District Director Saleh Mu'aidh emphasized that the association is a key pillar of development. He stressed the necessity of strengthening cooperative work, improving management, activating its role, and establishing investment projects to ensure its sustainability. He affirmed the local authority's support for the association and called for broad participation in achieving comprehensive development and self-sufficiency.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Najad, Director of Associations and Unions at the Governorate Social Affairs Office, outlined the association's objectives, duties, and programs. He stressed the importance of aligning its work with efforts to promote cooperative and development activities.
