Al-mahwit: The Finance and Tax Offices, along with the Qat Sales Tax and Real Estate Revenue Tax branches in the Al-Mahwit governorate, organized a speech event on Wednesday to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad for the year 1448 AH. The event was graced by the presence of Province undersecretary Issam Al-Nuzaili.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulsalam Al-Dhamari, another Province undersecretary, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) birth. He explained that the occasion embodies the Yemeni people's commitment to the Prophet's path and the noble values he represented, such as justice, mercy, solidarity, and morality. Al-Dhamari highlighted this commemoration as a spiritual and educational opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life, learn valuable lessons, and strengthen the love and connection to him. He further stressed the importance of instilling the Prophet's values in society and reinforcing awareness of adhering to his guidance, especially amidst the challenges facing the Muslim world.
Al-Dhamari also remarked that the celebration serves to introduce the Prophet Muhammad's approach and encourages emulation of his morals and stances. He believes that this strengthens the spirit of responsibility, compassion, and solidarity within society.
On his part, Abbas Al-Mutaa, the director of the governorate's tax office, affirmed that the celebration reflects the deep love Yemenis have for the Prophet and their connection to his guidance and life. He noted that the Prophet's birthday is an opportunity to enhance religious and moral awareness and to solidify values like truthfulness, trustworthiness, and benevolence, which the Messenger of Mercy brought.
Al-Mutaa pointed out that commemorating the Prophet's birth strengthens the nation's connection to him, instilling love, reverence, and respect for God and His Messenger. This, in turn, motivates individuals to translate their love into good behavior, morals, and community service. He stressed the importance of learning from the Prophet's life in fulfilling duties and responsibilities, emphasizing integrity and dedication in serving citizens, thereby enhancing performance and trust between state institutions and society.
