Sana’a: The First Undersecretary of Amran Governorate, Abdulaziz Abu Kharfasha, and the official of the education sector, Zaid Rattas, have inaugurated a significant project aimed at supporting physically disabled students. The project involves the distribution of uniforms and school bags, along with necessary accessories, to 151 students from Al-Irada School. This initiative is funded by the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped and executed by the Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Kharfasha emphasized that the initiative is crucial in supporting disabled students and enhancing their scientific and cultural abilities. He noted that this support is in line with the directives of the leader of the revolution, Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, and he urged businessmen and philanthropists to extend their support to the disabled, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
Zaid Rattas commended the association’s efforts in providing essential school supplies and reaffirmed the education sector’s commitment to supporting students with disabilities.
Meanwhile, the President of the Association, Abdul Khaliq Al-Makhdhi, highlighted the organization’s activities in “creating a suitable educational environment for students according to their special needs.”
