Hodeidah: Dr. Radwan Al-Rubaie, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, conducted an inspection of the Al-Bukhashi Central Market for fish and meat located in the Al-Mansouria District of Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Al-Rubaie was accompanied by Hussein Al-Atas, Chairman of the General Authority for Fisheries, as they reviewed the operations of the market, focusing on the mechanisms for marketing and trading fish and meat. The officials received explanations from specialists about the market's workflow and the range of services provided to meet the needs of local residents in both the district and the broader governorate.
The Minister stressed the necessity for market operators to comply with health, environmental, and quality standards to protect consumers and prevent disorganized practices. He reiterated the ministry's pledge to support enhancements, develop marketing processes, and organize sales mechanisms that benefit citizens. Dr. Al-Rubaie highlighted the critical need for coordination and cooperation among various entities to serve the public interest effectively.
