Inspection of Construction Work at Dairy Factory Affiliated with Abs Cooperative Society

Hajjah: The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Ammar Al-Karim, together with the Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Soufi, conducted an inspection of the construction work at the dairy factory associated with the Abs Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Karim and Al-Soufi were accompanied by several officials, including directors from the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local and Rural Administration and Development, Jamal Al-Alawi, the Agricultural Services Foundation, Adnan Hashid, and the head of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Mubarak Al-Qaili. They reviewed the progress made on the project and discussed with the society's representatives their plans for expanding dairy production. The discussions also covered the machinery necessary for operating the factory in line with quality standards and technical requirements, as well as strategies for supporting local products and farmers.

During the visit, both Al-Karim and Al-Soufi highlighted the positive impact of the Abs Agricultural Cooperative Society's projects on the district's residents and farmers. They encouraged other cooperatives to follow the Abs Society's example in implementing initiatives that enhance product success in the local market, boost the economy, and create sustainable employment.

The officials also urged citizens to join agricultural cooperatives to maximize benefits in promoting agricultural development, resilience, and adaptability in the face of present challenges.
