Al hodeidah: First Undersecretary of Al Hodeidah Governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, inspected the level of employee attendance and workplace discipline at the Office of Economy, Industry and Investment following the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Al-Bishri received a briefing from the Director of the Office of Economy, Saleh Ateefah, on the workflow across all departments and sections, as well as the efforts of employees in carrying out their assigned duties to serve citizens and facilitate their transactions from the first day of official work after the holiday.
The First Undersecretary toured various departments and sections of the office, reviewing the commitment of administrative leaders and staff to official working hours. He stressed the importance of workplace discipline in strengthening institutional performance and improving the quality of services provided to the community.
Al-Bishri also emphasized the need to enhance employee discipline, improve administrative efficiency, and elevate the level of economic and investment services, thereby supporting development activities in the governorate. He further discussed with the office leadership and staff a number of issues related to work mechanisms and ways to improve regulatory performance, in a manner that would strengthen the office's economic role within the governorate.
In the same context, Al Hodeidah Governorate Undersecretary for Services Affairs, Mohammed Hulaisi, inspected the level of employee attendance and workplace discipline at the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, the Public Telecommunications Corporation, the Postal Authority branch, and the Al Hodeidah Region Electricity Corporation following the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Hulaisi toured the departments and facilities of these service institutions, reviewed workflow and the level of technical and administrative readiness, and listened to briefings from administrative leaders on the nature of their tasks and the services provided to citizens. The Governorate Undersecretary also discussed with the directors and leadership of these institutions a number of issues related to improving performance and enhancing the delivery of essential services.
He stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and strengthening workplace discipline to meet the requirements of the current stage. He called for further development of performance in vital service sectors, contributing to improved service quality for citizens in the fields of sanitation, telecommunications, postal services, and electricity.
