Gaza strip: The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, extended his condolences to Dr. Khalil Al Hayya, the head of the "Hamas" movement in the Gaza Strip and its negotiating delegation leader, following the martyrdom of Izz El Din Al Haddad "Abu Suhaib." Abu Suhaib, the General Commander of the Izz El Din Al Qassam Brigades, was killed along with his wife, daughter, and several civilians by what the Deputy Minister described as the usurping Israeli enemy entity. Abu Suhaib's career was characterized by his dedication and sacrifice for Palestine and its cause.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abu Ras highlighted that this act of violence coincided with the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, marking the continued suffering of the Palestinian people. He accused the Israeli entity of committing genocide crimes, imposing an unjust siege, and noted the Islamic nation's failure to fulfill its duties to support the Palestinian cause. Abu Ras also criticized the normalization of relations by many regimes with Israel.
He emphasized that the actions of the Israeli entity would not deter the Palestinian people from their struggle against the occupation. Instead, he argued, the blood of the martyrs would only strengthen the resistance's resolve and commitment to its principles until victory is achieved.
The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated Yemen's support for the Palestinian people and their resistance efforts until the occupation ends and the Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital. He extended his deepest condolences to Dr. Al Hayya, the martyr's family, the Palestinian people, and the Hamas movement, praying for divine mercy for the martyrs and patience for their families.
