Al bayda: The Deputy Governor of Al Bayda, Ahmed Al Siqal, today inspected the progress of facilities in the halls of the Agriculture and Environmental Sciences College building at Al Bayda University. According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Al Siqal, along with the head of the agriculture sector in the governorate, Engineer Mohammed Al Haidari, received an explanation from the Dean of the Agriculture College, Dr. Mohammed Al Nazzari. The briefing covered the technical work involved in implementing and furnishing the halls, as well as the necessary provisions to ensure the college's effectiveness in the agricultural sector. Additionally, plans for opening admission and registration for the first batch of high school graduates interested in agriculture were discussed. The initiative includes allocating free seats, with two seats per district, to encourage enrollment, along with providing student housing and other benefits to facilitate access to university education. Deputy Governor Al Siqal emphasiz ed that the implementation of these projects aligns with directives from the revolutionary leader, guidance from the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, and the Change and Construction government's program aimed at advancing the agricultural sector and building capacities. Al Siqal assured that the governorate's leadership is prepared to address any challenges the Agriculture College may encounter. He also highlighted the open enrollment opportunities for students from various districts within the governorate or from neighboring governorates. Al Siqal commended the improvements made to the college facilities, which are expected to play a crucial role in the agricultural sector by supplying the job market with qualified professionals dedicated to development efforts.
