Al bayda city: The Governor of Abdullah Idris inspected on Wednesday the progress of the internal streets maintenance project in Al Bayda City.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project extends over six kilometers with a total cost of 100 million Yemeni riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund and Bridges. During the visit, Governor Idris listened to a briefing from the Director of the Executive Unit for Road Maintenance, Engineer Faisal Al-Sudani, regarding the project and the completed works.
The ongoing maintenance covers the main street as well as several major and secondary roads within the city, with the completion rate reaching 30 percent. The governor emphasized that the project is part of a package of service and development projects being implemented under the governorate's plan to improve public services. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the implementing party adheres to engineering specifications and the scheduled timeline for completion.
