Inspection of Road Projects in Saada Governorate Highlights Infrastructure Improvements

Saada: The Deputy Minister of Transport and Works for the Roads Sector and Head of the Road Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al Haifi, alongside Engineer Ibrahim Al Namri, Deputy Governor of Saada for Works Affairs and Director of the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Development, inspected several road projects funded by the Fund in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials reviewed progress on the asphalt paving project of the southern ring road of Saada city, including the implementation of a water drainage channel. They also examined the maintenance project of internal streets in Saada city executed by the Executive Unit and the asphalt paving project of the "Saada - Damaj - Al Salem" road, carried out by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.

The two deputies, joined by Engineer Abdul Salam Al Sharif, Director of the Road Authority Branch in the governorate, received detailed updates from project managers about the level of implementation, progress, and the remaining stages. Engineer Al Haifi emphasized that the visit aimed to assess the urgent needs to continue implementing road projects in the governorate to ensure their timely completion.

Meanwhile, Engineer Al Namri lauded the Ministry of Transport and Works, specifically the Road Maintenance Fund, for funding projects that enhance service levels and advance the governorate's infrastructure. He highlighted the urgent need for road projects in the governorate, particularly focusing on asphalting, restoration, and maintenance of numerous roads and streets in Saada city and its districts, which would significantly ease the community's challenges.
